Newindainews/SA/ Historically, when the Israelites were confronted with tyranny and oppression from Fir’awn and his supporter tribesmen, Allaah, in His usual tradition, raised Prophet Musa (a s) from among the Israelites to liberate them. The Israelites were subsequently set on the mission to conquer some giants in the holy land of Palestine, but they blatantly disobeyed the divine directive. Allaah then forbade them from settling in the holy land. Another respite was granted to the Israelites. Allaah enabled His Prophet, Daawud (David a s) to return them to Palestine after a while. Prophet Sulayman, Zakariyya, Yahya and a host of others were raised to further the divine mission of guiding mankind and specifically the Israelites in Palestine but instead of adhering to the message, the Israelites were recalcitrant. They went to the extent of slaughtering and killing Allaah’s Messengers (a s). A powerful king eventually sent the Israelites on perpetual exile away from Palestine. After several years of wandering around the world, they eventually came around to claim the land with the determination to displace the settlers in Palestine. They have since then been engaging in killing, maiming, oppressing and dehumanizing the Palestinians.
The world is aware of this injustice and oppression but has refused to acknowledge the truth of the history. Furthermore, the stakeholders refused to adopt a proper course for the establishment of justice and peaceful living for the populace in that part of the world.
Allaah is aware of this fact that has formed the basis of the two parties constituted by mankind-party of truth for the believers and party of falsehood for the unbelievers. Meanwhile, mankind has a common origin, the one single body of the same parents, Adam and Hawwa (a s).
And among His Signs is this, that He created you (Adam) from dust, and then [Hawwa’ (Eve) from Adam’s rib, and then his offspring from the semen, and], – behold you are human beings scattered! (Ar-Ruum, Qur’aan Chapter 30 v 20).
In addition to the love and peace that should naturally exist between children of the same parents, Allaah reveals His guidance via His Messengers (a s) to mankind for them to appreciate and enhance the natural love and peaceful living among themselves. Furthermore, in His guidance, how to also resolve the natural conflicts between and among human beings (or the party of truth and that of falsehood) has been established. Fortunately for the believers and unfortunately for the unbelievers, the divine guidance only benefits the believers.
…This (the Qur’aan) is nothing but evidence from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. (Al-A’raaf, Qur’aan Chapter 7 v 203).
Even if the majority of mankind refuse to acknowledge and appreciate the divine guidance, believers in it ought to understand and thereby pursue and attain peaceful living in this world.
The believers are only those who, when Allaah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His verses (the Qur’aan verses) are recited unto them, they (the verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord. (Al-Anfaal, Qur’aan Chapter 8 v 2).
When the believers keep up their faith, spiritual devotions and generously spend their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allaah, Allaah has promised them increase in spiritual strength, help, forgiveness, victory and divine mercy.
Fight for liberation from oppression of the unbelievers is therefore natural and inevitable and Allaah demonstrated this in the lives of His Messengers and their companions, leading to many of the battles fought in the history of mankind. Victory has not always been ordinarily and easily attained without the necessary inputs of the believers’ physical efforts.
Allaah in Suuratul-Anfaal assures of how He would always grant help, strength and victory to the believers regardless of the military might and war strategies of the unbelievers.
The same way Allaah used Prophet Musa (a s) to liberate the Israelites from the tyranny and oppression of Fir’awn’s rule in Egypt, Prophet Ibraahiim (a s) from Namrudh’s rule , Prophet Muhammad (s a w) from the disbelief, barbarism, injustice, tyranny and oppression of the pagans of Arabian Peninsula and by extension, the entire world, HAMAS (The Islamic Resistant Movement) of Gaza has offered itself to liberate the oppressed Muslim World from the savage, injustice and oppression perpetrated by the Israelites in the occupied territories of Palestine.
Allaah says:
And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allaah Alone…_ (Al-Anfaal Qur’aan Chapter 8 v 39).
Islaam demands all true believers to be part of this effort. If the majority of Muslims have failed to comply with this divine decree, HAMAS and any other members of the Islamic Movement that have complied should rather be praised than being blamed for their action that marked the beginning of the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.
Though majority of mankind cannot imagine having to confront Israel given her magnitude of military might, array of weaponry and the audacity to commit savagery and genocide against the Palestinians, HAMAS comprehends the fact that confronting Israel is the only justified course, a very difficult choice and decision that is divinely ordained to end tyranny, injustice and oppression.
While this conundrum may not be comprehended by many, the killing of the Muslims during wars by the unbelievers is both victory and good luck to the believers. Physical or worldly victory of unbelievers over the believers is a misfortune and punishment in Hellfire for the unbelievers. This is because as martyrs in Allaah’s cause, Allaah will always strengthen the believers spiritually against the unbelievers leading to a physical victory against the unbelievers in this world while also granting the believers attainment of divine pleasure in Paradise.
The war in Palestine is a supposed collective duty of the entire Muslim world. The task has become quite enormous for the Muslims in Palestine alone because the greater segment of the global Muslim Ummah (community) has failed to accord Muslims in Palestine, the expected support. While the support of the Palestinians from the very small segment of the Muslim Ummah (community) is however commended, it should be appreciated that the least of expectations from all and sundry, include supplications for the Muslims in Palestine and the execution of economic sanctions against Israel and her entire interests all over the world.
O Muslims! Awake to this call:
And those who disbelieve are allies to one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do same (i.e. become allies, as one united block with one Khalifah – chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world to make victorious Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism), there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism, etc.) and oppression on earth, and a great mischief and corruption (manifestation of polytheism). (Al-Anfaal Qur’aan Chapter 8 v 73).
